Data Entrant

Job Description

The Data Entrant will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry to ensure the integrity and consistency of information published on the platform. The role involves entering news items, headlines, summaries, tags, and other related content into the content management system. The ideal candidate must have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with digital platforms or media content. The position requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Enter data accurately into the company’s content management system (CMS)

  • Review and verify the accuracy of data before publication

  • Tag and categorize news stories appropriately

  • Ensure content formatting adheres to editorial standards

  • Coordinate with the editorial team for timely updates

  • Maintain and update the digital archives

  • Flag and correct any inconsistencies or errors in data

  • Support other departments with data-related tasks as needed
